A Korean American congresswoman has been named to chair the subcommittee on East Asia and Pacific affairs underneath the Home International Affairs Committee in the course of the 119th Congress that kicked off final week, the committee’s chairman stated Thursday.
Rep. Younger Kim (R-CA), who led the subcommittee on the Indo-Pacific in the course of the earlier Congress, will lead the subcommittee, based on Committee Chairman Brian Mast (R-FL).
